What Tooth Restoration TX is, who it is for, and what it is not.

Tooth Restoration TX is an independent publication about restoring and replacing teeth: what dental implants, crowns, bridges, root canals and fillings cost, what insurance, Medicare and Texas Medicaid do and do not pay for, how treatment goes, and how it works in six Texas cities. It began in 2023 as a set of Texas city pages and has grown into an archive of articles on dental care.

We are a publication, not a dental practice. We do not treat anyone, quote for treatment, book appointments, or pass a visitor’s details to a practice that does. Where a page names or links to a practice, we say so on the page, and we have not assessed the practice.

How the site works

Articles are written for a general reader and edited for plain language. Nothing here is advice about your own teeth; a treatment decision needs a dentist who has examined you, and a coverage question needs your plan documents or the state’s Medicaid office. Where an article links to a practice or a company, that link was placed by the practice or on its behalf. Corrections are welcome and are made quickly: send a message.

Restoring teeth in Texas

The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners licenses every dentist who practices in the state, and its license lookup is public. Texas has dental schools in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso, and their patient clinics treat the public, usually for less than a private practice charges. The city guides and the cost and coverage pages say what that means locally.
